Microneedling + PRP

Microneedling is a minimally-invasive procedure that uses a device with tiny, shallow needles that create hundreds of invisible and controlled puncture wounds on the top layer of the skin. (Don’t worry — you’ll be numbed!) These micro-wounds trigger the body to produce new collagen, elastin and capillaries, plumping skin and breaking up scar tissue. A series of treatments will result in improved skin texture, firmness and hydration.

We combine microneedling treatments with platelet rich plasma (PRP) for the ultimate skin rejuvenation. By adding PRP microneedling you get better results and less downtime. Microneedling with PRP results in a significant increase in collagen and speeds up your healing time, with downtime lasting 24-72 hours.. Microneedling is a suitable treatment for every skin type and is safe for pregnant women (but always check with your OBGYN first).

“Had a wonderful, first time experience getting a Microneedling PRP treatment done by Kirby. She talked me through each step and was so caring throughout the process. Highly recommend and I will certainly be booking another treatment very soon!”

FAQ

Is Microneedling painful? A numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as mild and tolerable. How long does the procedure take? The full appointment usually takes about 60–90 minutes, including time for numbing and drawing blood for the PRP. Is there downtime? You may experience redness and mild swelling for 1–3 days. Most people return to normal activities within 24 hours.

How many treatments will I need? For best results, a series of 3–4 treatments spaced about a month apart is recommended. Maintenance sessions may be suggested based on your skin goals.

Is it safe? Yes. Because PRP comes from your own blood, there’s minimal risk of allergic reaction. Microneedling is a well-established, safe procedure when performed by trained professionals.
